About Us

KitCat Theatre of Arts was founded in 2021 by SEO Kirstyn Cumine.

Our aim is to deliver fully inclusive classes, workshops and shows that explore all elements of theatre and to create more employment opportunities for young creatives across the central belt of Scotland.

Kirstyn studied Acting and Performance and went on to graduate with a BA(hons) degree for drama in 2017.

After graduating she began her career as an actor touring with M&M Theatrical productions, delivering high quality pantomimes to schools across the UK for 3 years.

It was during this time that Kirstyn realised there was a lack of opportunities for young creatives across Scotland and decided she wanted to create a hub for like minded creatives and somewhere for young people to explore all aspects of theatre.

Kirstyn is an Actor, Director, Writer and Special FX Makeup artist. Why should we settle for having just one passion? Why Can't we explore all of our interests and keep life exciting?
